As a tenant, it is important that you follow the appropriate move-out procedure to ensure that you receive a full refund of your refundable deposits. If you completed the “Move-in Move Out Condition Checklist” when you moved in, we will use that list when evaluating the home. Follow the list** below and you should receive a full refund of your deposits. Personal items and trash must be completely out of the home. In short, make the home look like it did when you moved in. We highly recommend you do these items yourself as it will likely save you money.   • Dust and clean the entire home, including but not limited to:
    • Floors
    • Walls
    • Ceilings
    • Baseboards
    • Window sills and coverings
    • Kitchen counters and sink
    • Cabinets
    • Bathrooms including sinks, shower, mirrors, toilets and behind toilets
    • Light fixtures
    • Ceiling fans
    • Fireplace
    • Etc.
  • If anything is missing or broken, replace or fix those items.
  • All appliances should be pulled away from the walls and cleaned inside and out, free from any grease.
  • Floors and walls behind appliances need to be cleaned.
  • Change the AC filter.
  • Have the carpets professionally cleaned and deodorized. The management company must approved cleaning company and a receipt is required.
  • Remove any bedroom locking devices that were installed by the tenant.
  • Remove all dead bugs that are in the property.
  • All pilot lights should be lit or the gas to the home shut off.
  • All the yard work should be up to date, all hedges, lawn, trees, etc. should be trimmed and debris removed.
  • If you touch up paint, please make sure the color matches or we will have to repaint the areas of mismatched paint at your expense.
  • Patios, balconies, and storage closets must be swept clean and free of any debris.
